Settings Change and Calendar Entries Disappear After Closing Out of App

New to this app and it looked promosing. But today I started using it and changed my settings and added calendar entries. When I closed out of the app and went back in, my settings had defaulted and all my calendar entries had disappeared. Not helpful. I'm using it alone and not synching with any other app. Widows desktop version. Thoughts?
