Ability to "Zoom out" to view entire day
Could there be an option to zoom out on the weekly calendar screen so I can see everything I have going on all day and night for the entire week? Or am I unaware that capability already exists? Right now I have to scroll to see the entire day. It would be ideal if i could zoom out to see say… 5am to 9pm. Thanks!

PinnedThis feature is now available in the latest iOS release v9.4.0 (available now); Mac v9.4.0 is pending Apple Review and should be available in the next couple days as well.
If you see any issues, please let me know—this was a tricky feature to build and some quirks are expected.
Thanks so much for your feedback and patience! And please be sure to leave a review if you haven’t already, it helps a ton!

Dynamic zoom+schedule blocks
I would like to use 15-minute blocks to schedule my day, but switching to that level means that less than 3 hours fits on the screen.
There's plenty of space to drag an event to the middle of the 30-min block, although not enough space for text just a 15min slot…
Maybe you can make it a dynamic zoom feature. It could change the timeslot duration setting on the fly, corresponding to the level of zoom. .

I imagine this would be a change to the data structure that stores events? But it would answer a few of the other requests here, and add another awesome level of functionality

Happy to see this one in progress. 👍
A suggestion: As we zoom out, i personally much prefer when calendars keep all events (even 5–15 min) as their own full-width blocks in a single column, rather than staggering/offsetting them side-by-side.
When you create a 15-minute event in Apple Calendar (and Fantastical if you zoom out enough) it will start shifting adjacent events into columns, which makes the day harder to scan.
Google Calendar is better: no matter how far you zoom out, it still keeps 15-minute blocks aligned.
Treering goes a step further. It isn’t a planning calendar (it’s a time tracking app), but it nails this specific UI behavior: even 5-minute blocks stay as their own thin rectangles no matter how far you zoom out.
As close as you can get to Treering/Google would be my own personal preference (especially since TimeFinder allows for 5-minute time slot durations). Even if blocks get too thin to show text, the color-only strip is still useful, and I can always zoom in for labels.
Best,
James

I’ll be looking into it in the next few weeks; definitely not easy but this has become the top request on the feedback board now that the other top requests have been delivered recently! :) Thanks for the feedback and patience!
