Ability to "Zoom out" to view entire day

Could there be an option to zoom out on the weekly calendar screen so I can see everything I have going on all day and night for the entire week? Or am I unaware that capability already exists? Right now I have to scroll to see the entire day.  It would be ideal if i could zoom out to see say… 5am to 9pm. Thanks!

Ability to add a deadline or timed date for certain tasks, that way they don’t get lost in the mix. e.g. Fix my guitar by 6PM 2/23/24 If it’s not checked off by then, it would go into a "late"’ box or something like that.

Allow "splitting up" a long task when a smaller one is dropped on it

There are times where I have a task scheduled for a large chunk of time. Then, there are things that interrupt that task and I’d like to just drag another task from the list into the slot where the other task overruled and TimeFinder “split” the larger task schedule automatically. As I mention in the comment in the screenshots, it would be nice for a task that has “split” another task to “eat up” the other task as it’s dragged down versus trying to push the other task down. It might even be nice to support this through maybe long-press on the expanding lines and then dragging. Also, having an “undo” button for fixing any mistakes would be nice.

“Free time left” indicator

Hello, It might be interesting or helpful to have the option to toggle on/off an indication of the amount of unscheduled time we have left in the day. I like the 5-minute increment view. As it is, you can’t see the entire day at once with this view.  If someone were to ask me “hey, do you have 15 minutes to hop on a call, today?” having a quick indicator of how much free time I have left, without scrolling up and down my schedule, could be helpful. If it says “1 hour free”, I could easily answer ‘yes’ and then look through my schedule to see where it fits or what can be moved around. Also, for people who tend to get sidetracked and procrastinate, for example going down a social media or YouTube rabbit hole suddenly, it may be helpful if one can visually see that number whenever opening their schedule, and knows “I’ve already planned my day out, and I only have 1 hour free today. Do I really want to be spending 20 minutes of it on this?” Kind regards, James

I would like to add tasks from multiple devices (Linux, Windows, Mac) and display upcoming tasks on an eink status dashboard without the need to grab my iPhone. So please give us powerusers API access. There is also the benefit, that Open Source Software for TimeFinder might be developed, which maximizes the user base.

Developer note: A true integration with Things is unfortunately an unlikely possibility, as the developer of Things deliberately makes it very difficult to build such an integration. I’ve created this feature request entry for reference, but barring some change of heart by the Things developers, it remains largely infeasible. That said, in the meantime, it is worth noting that you can drag & drop from Things (or any other app) into TimeFinder on desktop (Mac & Windows).

List-to-List Split View

The app currently allows selecting and moving a task from one list to another, but I would love to see an interface where I could easily drag tasks between lists. The way my workflow works, I use the urgent and important quadrant, so I have lists: urgent and important, not urgent but important, urgent but not important, not urgent and not important. Tasks flow between these lists regularly as priorities and urgencies change.
