    @Amanda Allen

    You asked:
    “Hi , is it normal that when I hit the plus sign for adding a new task to a list, it puts it to the bottom? I notice I can go to top and pull it down to add to top, however just wondering if the plus sign adds to bottom by design.”

    Thanks for the question: indeed, that is by design.

    But if you feel differently, I’m happy to consider including an option to change this behavior. Have you perhaps observed a different behavior in another app you’ve used?

      Well Luke, your app has been about the only one I have liked/loved enough to stick with! So I’m not really comparing, but I do think of lists as to dos and some people may want their newest at top or vice versa, bottom.

      I appreciate the thought you put into features so I consider the reasons why many folks would like that automatically going to the bottom. I suspect my tendency to not remove completed tasks is my issue…

      My perspective is that when I complete a task, it marks it out and moves it to the bottom, I like that. Then, you see, the plus sign adding my newest items to the bottom under all my completed tasks doesn’t work well for me.

      I wonder if the option for completed tasks going to the bottom would pair well with newest at top. And choice for not putting it on the bottom would be a natural choice for those to go to the bottom? Just thoughts. Thanks for reading.

        Firstly, thanks so much for the kind words, glad you enjoy the app so much!

        I really appreciate you sharing your use-case—in that you prefer to not remove completed tasks, and so of course it makes more sense to always add things to the top.

        Your idea for an option to “add newest tasks to the top” is certainly reasonable, and I’ve revised the content of your submission here to be a feature request instead of a bug report—I’ll be happy to work this option into the app in the near future.

        Thanks!
