Downshifting tasks into free time only

When I’m running behind schedule during the day, I’d like to be able to shift my tasks down a bit without shifting all remaining tasks for the day. I have my evening routine locked in, so when I get behind schedule, I have to shift all tasks individually to avoid messing up my evening timing. And since I can’t zoom out, I have to just guess how far down I need to move the bottom task because time math is a foreign language to me. I’ve thought of a few ways this can be done:

-Add the ability to select multiple tasks to move them at once.

-if shifting the schedule down moves locked tasks, add the option to move all unlocked/non-recurring tasks

-change the down arrow to move only the tasks from the current time into available time slots. If trying to shift down into occupied space, notify the user that there is a task in the way and give the option to either skip the occupied time slot or add the task to the moving block of tasks.
