Sounds like a new bug in the latest release; I’ll look into it and fix it asap (within the next couple hours)—thanks so much for the report, and thanks for your patience 🙏🏻 -Luke

I found the issue! It specifically pertains to when your Focus Mode is “synced” with your schedule (the default state).
In the meantime, there is a workaround: 1. Hit the “+” button to “Add a new Focus Task” 2. Then, hit the Done button (to save/dismiss that new task without entering anything).
After doing this, the Focus Task List will not longer be “Synced with your Schedule”, and the play button will work once again. If you need to re-sync with your schedule, you can do so by hitting the “Reset to Schedule” button, but until the fix is released, you’ll need to do the workaround again.
I really appreciate you taking the time to report this issue, especially as a new user. There are a lot of low-quality apps out there, and I imagine most users would just dismiss this as a lazy error and delete the app. Instead, you’ve given me the opportunity to help you and anyone else by reporting this error. As a token of my gratitude, I would like to grant you a free 3 month subscription. Send me an email at Luke@timefinder.app and I’ll be happy to apply it. Thanks so much! -Luke
