Free Trial Lockin

When I first downloaded the app I clicked on the “free trial” button after signing in to see what features were available, but there was no way to close the dialog once it opened. Even force-quitting the app and re-launching it brought up the unskippable trial dialog again.

I had to delete/redownload the app in order to use it without a trial.

I was exploring features and came across one that required a trial and the unskippable dialog came up again. I was planning on using the trial anyway, but this was an annoyance when onboarding.

    You’re correct that on some platforms, the free trial is not currently optional. As an indie developer, monetization isn’t is crucial; it’s how i make a living and keep the app alive and growing. I do acknowledge the paywall isn’t as clear as it could be though, and I’m working hard to improve the clarity of this over the next week or two.
