List color not carrying over to task bucket

when you add a date to a list task you get an option to add to task bucket, or if a date exists theres an icon next to date you can click to add to task bucket. When you use either one of these it defaults to the default new appointment color and not the list color it came from. Experiencing this on IOS and desktop.
