Ah, this is a very significant regression / bug—this was not removed intentionally, but rather, it seems another improvement in another part of the app accidentally broke the system that the task count label relies on. I’m so sorry for the disruption here, and I really appreciate you reporting this! I will fix this immediately and roll out the fix as soon as I can, within the next day or two.
