Unable to expand tasks

When I drag a task from a list to my day, the task will not let me expand it right away. I have found that I have to first long press somewhere in the day list (right side for me) to “clear” the bug and then I can drag the handle on the task to expand it out to more slots. This seems to have started in the last month or two. This is a decent annoyance.

Also, I don’t know if it’s related, but it used to be that as I dragged tasks to my day they would pick up different colors and now they seem to stay the same color.
